Journey to Us Conferences are one-day events hosted in a variety of locations, including churches, campgrounds, and Focus on the Family Canada’s head office in Langley, BC. All-Inclusive Journey to Us Retreats offer couples a more focused and immersive experience. Hosted at our beautiful retreat centres in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario, these intimate, small-group style weekends provide the time and space to deeply engage with the principles of a strong, lasting marriage while enjoying meaningful connection and rest away from everyday life.

The principles taught in Journey to Us are drawn from Focus on the Family’s Hope Restored program, which has helped restore 80% of marriages on the brink of divorce for more than 15 years in Canada and the U.S. Journey to Us brings these same proven, biblically grounded principles to couples at every stage of marriage helping strengthen relationships before they reach a crisis point.
The program was developed by licensed therapists who specialize in marriage counselling and the Christian definition of marriage. Journey to Us is not just an event; it’s an experience that opens couples’ eyes to a new, deeper, and more meaningful way path to a marriage that lasts.

The Journey to Us marriage program is open to anyone and offers practical relationship principles that are helpful for everybody, regardless of marital status. While the conferences and retreats are designed with married couples in mind, singles, engaged couples, and individuals attending without their spouse are all welcome.
While we believe children are a gift from God, we ask that conferences and retreats remain child-free. This allows attendees the opportunity to focus on the experience without distractions.
We recommend registering as early as possible to secure your spot, as events can fill up quickly. However, you’re welcome to register up to the day of the event, provided tickets are still available.
Journey to Us offers both one-day conferences and all-inclusive weekend retreats. Pricing varies depending on the event and applicable discounts.

While the Journey to Us program is built on counselling-based principles, it does not include individual counselling sessions. As a result, registration fees are not eligible for reimbursement through health insurance.
Every Journey to Us event registration includes the full program, two workbooks, light refreshments (morning and afternoon snacks), door prizes, and a discount code for the online Focus on the Family Canada resource centre.
The cost of an All-Inclusive Journey to Us Marriage Retreat also covers accommodations, meals, and parking. Please note that travel expenses (such as flights, rental cars, or taxis) are not included in the all-inclusive experience.
Registration fees for Journey to Us marriage conferences and retreats are non-refundable. However, they may be transferred to another event or to another couple.

Winnipeg, MBWe recommend Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG), located approximately one hour and 45 minutes from our Manitoba retreat centre.
Toronto, ONWe recommend Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), which is approximately a one-hour drive from our Ontario retreat centre.
Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation from the airport to our retreat centres. Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location.
